Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

DigitalRoute is looking for a visionary and hands-on CMO with the optimal blend of strategic and tactical/operative experience and a strong set of leadership/relationship-building skills to lead strategic marketing communication and branding into the next phase of the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the client has a compelling, cohesive brand story that speaks to potential customers
  • Build and enhance recognition of the company’s services and offerings globally
  • Lead with a customer-centric thinking and craft programs to meet those targets
  • Establish goals and create the strategy for meeting marketing deliverables and metrics
  • Lead a high-performing and highly collaborative marketing team and be a ‘Front runner’ and speaker at industry events
  • Work closely with fellow executive team members to ensure the implementation of marketing strategies company-wide
  • Good understanding of digital marketing in order to drive company sales
  • Lead communication through different channels (PR and Industry analysts)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent experience
  • At least 5-7 years marketing/management and leadership experience in senior position, preferably international business
  • Experience from B2B marketing within technology
  • Market-Metric-driven and have the ability to draw insights from complex data and overall a business-oriented mind
  • Successful track record of building and managing a marketing team and the ability to drive a brand’s reputation
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, engineers and other disciplines
  • Ability to be hands-on, and work in a dynamic, ambitious deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong people skills to lead and develop the team and handle internal and external stakeholders (e.g. analysts and partners)

You need a deep understanding of tech and understand the market, anticipate needs and act accordingly. You need to be comfortable with ambiguity, they are in a fast-growing business and there are always grey areas, which is part of the fun. You will be part of the management team and report to the CEO of the company and you will be working in their main office in central Stockholm, Sweden.
