About the opportunity

Identiway is looking for a VP Sales who will be responsible for scaling the company from a number of key clients today to a tangible share of the market in the most important European markets over the next 3 years. You will work closely with the Founder to bring in major accounts. You will refine and demonstrate a predictable customer acquisition model and manage the sales team. As VP of Sales you form part of the management team but more importantly the cultural backbone. You are hands-on, understand professional buyers and have a unique combination of analytical brainpower, structure and determination to achieve exceptional results. You master the art of knowing what customer feedback to take back to the team, and what feedback to neglect as you facilitate the product market fit process in new segments and markets.

Some of the responsibilities are:

  • Build a high performing sales team for a multi-lingual, pan European sales effort
  • Work alongside marketing to refine and demonstrate the customer acquisition model
  • Create a personal pipeline of the top European accounts and close deals
  • Refine a structured approach to online marketing and sales where the bulk of sales will be online generated albeit with room for physical interaction and account-based marketing
  • Work cross-functionally with the team in Stockholm and Vilnius
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing and other key stakeholders, providing input to new product development, customer acquisition costs, etc.
  • Inspire team with sound leadership and confidence
  • Interact with the Board, owners and investors

About you

  • Proven track record in sales
  • Understanding of new financial landscapes (PSD2, MLD4 etc.)
  • Self-motivated with a relentless drive to deliver target driven results
  • Tenacity to seek out actively new business opportunities
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Strong business communication, presentation and business acumen skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with negotiation skills
