Head of Brand and Concept Development

Safemind is now helping one of its clients to find a key role in their continuous growth. It is a consumer-oriented company with Swedish origin with a global presence and clear ambitions to grow further both in Sweden and on an international level.

The newly established role as Head of Brand and Concept development will be part of the commercial function and will initially be responsible for a smaller number of specialists (analysts and project managers) and report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

The role will include these responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clear and competitive brand position and value propositions for well defined and attractive target groups
  • Ensure an attractive customer experience through concept ownership and development that also drives sales and profitability: offering, look & feel, bundles & packages for different target groups, web & app as well as other aspects of the customer journey
  • Drive piloting and ensure implementation of new or revised concepts together with other key stakeholders
  • Maximize the average spend per customer through recommendations on pricing, bundling, etc.
  • Translate the above to brand standards and manuals
  • Customer insights, brand tracking and trend monitoring to support the above
  • Track commercial performance and customer feedback and provide input to other parts of the organization
  • Manage a team of 2-3 people, analysts and project managers

In order to do drive the company’s brand and develop the best concepts, it is like you have a hands-on, can-do attitude with an eagerness to drive sales through great customer experiences.

Your background will most likely include:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Product development or equivalent education
  • Probably several years of experience from concept development, business development, brand management or other similar experience in a senior position. Preferably in consumer-oriented, international companies where you have had exposure to the full development cycle e.g. both insights, prototyping & testing, development, implementation and realizing results
  • Experience and interest in driving qualitative and quantitative research, enjoying analytics and basing decisions on customer insights and financial assessments.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and people skills with a passion for working together with many stakeholders both within your own team, other teams, colleagues and external partners
