Qbtech is present in 14 countries with offices in Stockholm, London and Houston. Over the next years, Qbtech will make significant investments into new products, technologies and people to further strengthen their services and products with the aim of building an ecosystem with solutions for providers, clinicians and patients. The IT team is the main focus of these investments.
Qbtech is now looking for a Java developer that will join their development team in central Stockholm. Together with the team you will be part in planning, developing, testing and documenting new features for Qbtechs core products. You will also handle deployment to Amazon, and managing and extending automated unit-testing. Your focus will be on Java and the backend system that is hosted on Amazon and uses Groovy and Grails. Unit-testing is done with jUnit/Spock and deployment is done with AWS CodePipeline using Docker images. The development team works with Java, C# and PHP and have a Scrum methodology. Your responsibility will mainly include Java development but also building and maintaining the Qbtech’s measuring systems for ADHD.

You have a few years of experience within backend development in Java, have documented experience in jUnit/Spock and the Spring framework. You are a curious problem solver with can-do mentality. You have a genuine interest in development and tech, you are a quick learner and can therefore familiarise yourself with the tech-environment fairly quickly.
