Qbtech is present in 14 countries with offices in Stockholm, London and Houston. Over the next years, Qbtech will make significant investments into new products, technologies and people to further strengthen their services and products with the aim of building an ecosystem with solutions for providers, clinicians and patients. The IT team is the main focus of these investments.
Qbtech is now looking for senior software engineers with Java experience, that will join their development team in central Stockholm. Together with the team you will be part in planning, developing, testing and documenting new features for Qbtech’s core products, using agile methodology.
Your focus will be on software development in Java/Kotlin and the backend services that are powering Qbtech’s measuring systems for ADHD. The majority of services are today built using the Grails framework, with a CI/CD-process leveraging AWS CodePipeline. Services are deployed as containers, running on top of ECS.
The polyglot engineering team include both frontend and backend engineers with many different languages and frameworks in use including Java, Kotlin, C# and Vue.js.

You have extensive experience with backend development, primarily using Java. You have expert knowledge in Spring framework (incl. Spring MVC / Webflux & Spring Boot). You’ve worked with at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Google cloud), for the full software delivery lifecycle (i.e. continuous delivery / deployment).
You are a curious problem solver with a can-do mentality and you have a genuine interest in software development and the it / tech industry as a whole. Qbtech are looking for someone who wants to be part of doing something meaningful and join their very pragmatic tech team.
