About the Role

As Global Digital Business Manager you will assume primary responsibility for leading the global overall e-Commerce strategy, driving profitable sales growth online, by developing the cooperation with our distributors in all of our markets globally. Together with your colleagues you will establish a best practice hub and be able to inform and educate distributors at different digital maturity and lead them to better online presence.

This position is a newly created role and will be considered as a key strategic role for BioGaia’s digital transformation, and you will work close to BioGaia´s Key Account Managers and Regional Managers building a strong global brand in a fast-growing health segment. The Global Digital Business Manager will work closely with the Consumer Marketing Manager to ensure that activities and plans are aligned and efficiently optimized across digital channels to drive a consistent message and brand image.

About you

This new role is the start of a new era for Biogaia to communicate to end users and we expect the area to grow over time. Therefore we need to add new digital knowledge and are looking for candidates with experience from similar positions – – preferable with focus on international sold consumer products, in an fast growing entrepreneurial company.

Communication skills are key since all BioGaia´s products are sold through external distributors and their respective channels. This person will work together/through external distributors and share best practice with them.
The Global Digital Business Manager needs to have good knowledge of the major online advertising channels, as well as sales through the Amazon platform and other related e-commerce platforms that play an important role in selling BioGaia´s products.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience with digital retailers, supplier knowledge and with extensive knowledge of the digital landscape.
  • Experience in both B2C and B2B eComm channels is preferable
  • Ability to successfully work with cross functional departments and leadership
  • Demonstrated learning capabilities on new business models, new skills and new methodology etc.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven capabilities and experience with measurement, KPI definition and reporting.
  • You are preferably on the cutting-edge of your field and have a good track record from driving and developing e-commerce, working with social media and strong knowledge of the latest technological tools.

  • Excellent command of English in speaking and writing. Fluency in another language would be beneficial (ideally Swedish, Spanish or Mandarin)
