Role

Our customer is a successful Swedish company acting on a global arena. In the middle of a fantastic growth phase they are now complementing their management team with a new COO-role.

About the role

As the COO you will build upon existing structures and frameworks allowing the company’s different divisions to work in a creative, yet smooth and efficient manner. Areas of responsibility include:

  • Establishing policies and structure supporting the execution of company vision, culture and goals
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of locations (Location management)
  • Ensure high efficiency and quality metrics in support function processes
  • Execution of location and growth strategies set by Division and Company Group management
  • Manage and follow up on quarterly goals, aligning operative business goals and roadmaps towards company key objectives
  • Execution on location strategy, enabling start-up and expansion of new locations
  • Execute on staffing division strategies and drive staffing allocation plans on 12-36 months perspective
  • Own and oversee engagement and retention metrics

The COO reports directly to the CEO.

Requirements 

  • Well established leader with experience from a creative environment
  • Experience from running operations on an executive level
  • Strong business acumen and a sense of financial sustainability
  • Experience from establishing offices in different countries, including finding, negotiating and securing efficient office space (including IT)
  • Proven track record of working with different locations, navigating country-specific cultures and regulations (USA and UK are meriting)
  • Experience from scaling up but also from daring to scale down what no longer works

You are engaged and driven and have the ability to establish structure in a creative environment. You are a good change agent and can evolve current structures and implement new ways with empathy and involvement. You dare to ask and challenge and have the energy to pull something through to completion.
