About the role

Dugga is looking for a global Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to build their sales organization and continue their global expansion. During the year Dugga’s user-base has grown rapidly, primarily through partners (channel-sales) and word-of-mouth. As CSO, you will have the opportunity to join in early and establish a successful organization for sales, growth, and customer success that will take Dugga to the next level. 

As global CSO you will be responsible for the sales team, KPIs, structures and processes to develop a successful customer journey – including pre-sales, new sales and customer success. This is a vital role for the company and you will report directly to the CEO.

As CSO in a fast-growing start-up you will need a flexible mind-set to thrive. In this role, you will work both operationally with sales, acquiring new customers and developing customer relationships, and strategically to position Dugga for the future. You are prepared to generate your own prospects and not afraid to take first contact. You are good at uncovering customer pains, understanding customers’ value drivers and to tailor your communication accordingly.

What you will do

  • Overall responsibility for sales and the sales team internationally. 
  • Participate operationally in sales
  • Establish structured processes, routines and KPIs to measure success.
  • Develop offers and business model to fit different markets
  • Establish partnerships with re-sellers 
  • Lead, coach and develop the sales team
  • Recruit and onboard new employees
  • Be part of the management team to develop the company forward 

About you

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience from international sales, preferably within SaaS
  • Experience as a leader, preferably at a start-up with good results 
  • Demonstrated ability to reach set targets
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and generate new pipeline opportunities
  • You are structured in the way you work and do business
  • You are self-motivated, persistent, and driven 
  • You have excellent skills in English both written and spoken
  • You have experience of CRM-systems and Marketing Automation
