Safemind is a recruitment company. We help ambitious companies grow and conquer the world. We work mostly in digital, and more often than not with startups and scaleups. We do tech, product and design. We recruit people for the whole spectra of positions, specialists as well as executives. We try to stay on top of industry trends within recruiting and building great teams but also trends in digital. Our hearts beat a little bit extra for our focus areas Fintech, Healthtech, E-com and Gaming where we stay on top of companies, candidates and trends. The people at Safemind are kind, ambitious and attentive to detail. We have an office in central Stockholm and also a hub in the UK. Working from out Gothenburg could also be an option.

About the role

As a recruitment consultant at Safemind you will work with full-cycle recruitment and work with clients such as Lifesum, Avalanche, Sinch and Storytel. In this role, you will source and recruit a broad set of roles, both specialists and leaders. Sometimes you own the whole process or you’ll team up with colleagues at Safemind and front multiple customers. We work closely in collaboration with our customers and that could also include for example advice around scaling team and employer branding. We also work closely with our candidate network, alway staying mindful of the fact that we are working with people.

It is important to us that we are able to be a good sounding board to clients and candidates alike. Most of us working at Safemind have backgrounds in other roles allowing us to draw from our own experience and skills to understand what it would take to be successful in a certain role or company culture. We now need to strengthen the team with knowledge of product management & product development.

About you

There are many traits that will make you a good recruiter. A genuine interest in people. An ability to quickly understand a client’s business, culture and challenges. The grit to see a project through.

We do think that these things will help you in this role with us:

  • You have worked with or around product management and product development with a good grasp of the craft, challenges and processes.
  • You understand the workings of start-up and scale-up cultures
  • You don’t necessarily have recruiting experience but you have a genuine interest in what makes people tick.
  • You have the ability to work autonomously to manage all aspects of the recruitment process, including being hands-on whenever necessary to move work forward.
  • Maintaining relationships with candidates and clients is something you know you’ll like.
  • Strong project management skills and being a self-starter is important.

The people working at Safemind have different backgrounds. Some of us are in the early years of our career, whilst others have walked a fair few miles by now. Some are passionate about technology, whilst others are design-nerds. Some of us like selling whilst others rather analyse data or map out companies in a certain field. We use our individual strengths but also challenge each other to grow.

We work together a lot, in recruitment projects or improving internal processes. We think it is more fun that way, and with our different perspectives the results get better. We believe we are never better than our team, so we make an effort to really be a team. We all help out to arrange off-sites and after-works, knowledge sharing sessions and a lot of fika, nowadays digital ones of course.
