We are currently looking for a Digital Product Manager for one of our clients in the Gothenburg region.

Digital Product Manager

As the digital Product Manager will be responsible for the vision and goals for the Digital Product Area. You will set the overall direction of the Product area, define Product area targets, efficiently relocate resources between digital teams, and you will be the managerial leader of all team members within your area.


Your main responsibility will be to define the vision and goals for your Product area and define team-specific goals in collaboration with the team’s Managerial leader and team members within the Product area. As the Digital Product Manager, you will own the Product area portfolio and efficient reallocation of resources within it. You need to Synchronize goals with Digital Leads in teams and contribute in formulation of mission and goals for competence groups and teams

You will also:

  • Lead the reviews on behalf of the Product area, defining and presenting priorities in the review memo
  • Track and measure the Product area’s performance health through OKRs and KPIs
  • Build a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering the Product area and setting clear expectations
  • Work with the Head of Domain to monitor the Product area’s adherence to all financial targets
  • You will coach employees and help to remove roadblocks

Your skills:

We are looking for someone with experience as a business manager or owner in the relevant field product/customer segment with responsibility for key performance indicators of the organization. You should have a deep understanding of industry trends and client needs, the ability to create a value proposition for the client and a vision for the domain’s product group

You should have a willingness to ”roll up your sleeves,” work and study outside of your comfort zone and motivate the domain toward such behavior. You an Experimentalist frame of mind for innovation who is willing to fail often and fast

You should have:

  • Experience as a Digital Lead (or similar role)
  • Strong skills in maintaining and prioritizing a backlog
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and alternatives to the client, the teams and all stakeholders in different areas (Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT)
  • Credibility and leadership qualities
  • Ability to persuade and lead a set of diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills to direct a domain toward the right decision s in the shortest possible time
  • Critical thinking, ability to find new solutions outside traditional frameworks and make a radical change
  • Belief in a non-hierarchical culture of interaction, transparency and trust in teams·   

It’s a plus if you have:

  • Scrum Master, Digital Lead certification (or equivalent)
  • Prior involvement in IT heavy competence groups
