Sinch is growing and we are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their Real-Time Communications team in Stockholm, Sweden. The team is responsible for the cloud-based telephony system, serving customers with real-time voice- and video communication solutions. It’s an established but yet growing team that works with a vision of making it simple and serving customers in the best possible way by continuously building and expanding the product portfolio. The communications platform is a distributed system, both in the geographical sense, providing globally distributed points of presence and access to the platform, and in its internal service-oriented architecture. The real-time aspects of the product combined with global availability of their services means interesting challenges alongside great opportunity in a unique situation managing this team as they grow to make this happen.
In the role as Engineering Manager you will be responsible for delivering high quality products in the area of voice services. As the Tech Leads in the team are responsible for driving the day-to-day work you will have the strategic overall responsibility for the whole team. You will work with Architects and Tech Leads to coordinate initiatives and deliverables, and work closely with your counterparts in the Product and Operations teams to deliver new services and features to the product portfolio.
