Gaming has been part of Safemind’s DNA for the past 18 years and we’ve worked with small newly founded game companies to larger AAA-focused studios. We’ve seen success and growth in these studios throughout the years, and followed successful game releases in different genres.
To name a few, we’ve worked with King, Avalanche Studios, Starbreeze, Resolution Games, Embark Studios, Remedy Entertainment, EA/DICE, Toca Boca, and, GOALS.
Since a big part of Safemind is located in the heart of Stockholm where many of Sweden’s game studios have offices, we follow gaming right where it happens.
As a Games Recruiter at Safemind, you will work with full-cycle recruitment, either on search assignments or in-house with different Studios and companies in the gaming industry. In this role, you will source and recruit for a broad set of roles within game development, including specialists and leaders. Sometimes you own the whole process or you’ll team up with colleagues at Safemind and front multiple studios/companies. We work closely in collaboration with our customers and that could also include for example advice around scaling teams and employer branding. We also work closely with our candidate network, always staying mindful of the fact that we are working with people.
Those passionate about internal contribution will also get a chance to work on structuring and improving internal processes as well as on internal recruitment and Safemind’s growth.
There are many traits that will make you a good recruiter. A genuine interest in people. An ability to quickly understand a client’s business, culture and challenges. The grit to see a project through.

We work together a lot, in recruitment projects or improving internal processes. We think it is more fun that way, and with our different perspectives the results get better. We believe we are never better than our team, so we make an effort to really be a team. We all help out to arrange off-sites and after-works, knowledge sharing sessions and a lot of fika, nowadays digital ones of course.
And off course, we spend time in our gaming room trying out our customers games!
