TOTEME is a Swedish fashion house founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman. From the studio in Stockholm, the label creates ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, and accessories. TOTEME explores the appeal of a modern uniform through distinct design cues, meticulous craftsmanship and methodic repetition. The company employs a direct-to-consumer business model through online and offline channels, in combination with a selection of online retailers and department stores. As the label expands to new markets, they are looking to ensure a scalable IT and tech infrastructure for the full internal tech environment.

About the role

TOTEME is looking for a Tech Manager that will play a key role in expanding their future IT and tech capabilities. In this role, you will lead a small but growing tech team and lead development projects by setting requirements, roadmap, and defining the process. This includes day-to-day IT queries, system integrations and optimization (multi-channel).

You will:

• Lead the tech team and key development projects from start to finish and follow-up
• Design strategies for future development projects with multi-channel scalability in mind
• Create architecture flow charts to ensure the success of key projects, scalability, and robustness of the set-up
• Challenge the current set-up by exploring, introducing and implementing new technologies
• Manage the tech department’s budget and own the entire tech stack, from maintenance, development, and upgrades
• Act as the main point of contact for all external IT providers and organize new integrations and tools with IT partners
• Work with delivery partners to continuously improve quality, efficiency, and capability
• Use your experience to estimate technical efforts needed on projects where there is a degree of uncertainty, flagging appropriate risks and assumptions
• Be responsible for ensuring an accurate data security level

About you

We are looking for someone with technical experience from a digital-first B2C business, preferably in a global retail environment. You are most likely familiar with systems such as OMS, PIM, WMS and ERP. You have a technical background, preferably as an IT architect, with proven working experience from cloud services such as Azure or AWS. 

To succeed in this role, you have great leadership and project management skills. You are a strong communicator, you can translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions and can explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience. You prefer long-term and sustainable solutions and have a great understanding of tech best practices and enjoy following innovations within the industry.

It’s a plus if you:
Have knowledge in Shopify 2.0 or similar platforms and experience in Microsoft tech stack.
