Alpcot is a fintech company that offers a digital platform for personal finance and life insurance services. The company launched its platform to bring transparency to the online investment industry by providing customers with a platform that charges no hidden fees, optimizes their investments, and manages their personal risks. Alpcot is about to ramp up and is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to play an instrumental part in realizing the technical business plan and taking the platform to new heights. 

About the role

The Senior Fullstack Developer will be responsible for system development and will work closely with the CTO, system architect, developer team, and business to improve the system and operations and deliver on business requirements. The role involves maintaining, operating, and developing products on Alpcot’s platform in C#.NET hosted on Microsoft Azure to deliver financial and advisory services.

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will

• Help improve the system architecture to strengthen the quality, operational efficiency, and maintainability of the overall system.
• Develop and deliver features in the system as a hands-on programmer.
• Develop tooling, DevOps, and system monitoring to assist operations and developers in their work.
• Mentor and guide the development team in creating great software.
• Perform code reviews.
• Develop automated tests for the platform.
• Operate and maintain the technical platform and delivered services.
• Take an active part in recruiting and growing the team.

Who you are

A Senior Fullstack Developer with prior experience in building transactional systems, preferably in a regulated environment. You should be a strong developer with a broad knowledge of modern software development, frameworks, libraries, and methodologies within C# .NET. You should also have hands-on experience working with microservices in a cloud-based system. You should be a self-motivated, thorough, and analytical individual who works well in teams. Fluent communication skills in English and preferably Swedish are required.
