AI Lead – Contract

We are helping a consumer tech startup in their search for an AI Lead. Our client is developing a new dimension of the Internet, a light web, where creators can build their own platforms and products, they aim to fundamentally change how people create and interact online. By freeing creators and their fans from the constraints of social media, they are building a platform that fosters a vibrant, community-driven ecosystem for limitless creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

The founder is a well-known profile from the Swedish tech scene – with a background from co-founding a global app that is being used by millions of people on a daily basis. About the role:

You’ll join a global tech team with a dedicated och focused engineering mindset. As the AI Lead, you will develop and execute a visionary AI/ML strategy that challenges conventional boundaries and aligns with our client’s ambitious goals. In this role, you will be at the forefront of an exciting revolution. You will have the unique opportunity to redefine the possibilities of AI and machine learning, driving these technologies to enhance user engagement, personalization, and the overall user experience for both creators and fans.

We are looking for:

• Proven experience in leading AI/ML teams and delivering successful AI/ML projects in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit learn, etc.).
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data preprocessing techniques.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and cloud computing platforms.
• Someone with an engineering mindset rather than a scientific/research mindset.
• Experience as a developer with a strong background in infrastructure, transitioning into a machine learning role, and leading machine learning teams is a great advantage for this role.
• It’s also a plus if you have experience working with product video/music streaming, consumer/social tech, or the gaming industry.

This is a long-term contract-based remote position that starts as soon as possible.
