VP of Group IT

We are currently identifying a VP of Group IT for a fast-growing consumer tech company that is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to its customers. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, they are committed to providing seamless and engaging experiences that set them apart from their competitors.

Reporting directly to a member of the executive leadership team, the focus of the VP of Group IT will be to own systems and implementation, internal tools, and IT infrastructure. This includes overseeing all aspects of our client’s IT strategy and operations as well as their business technology and ERP systems. 


  • Develop and implement an overall IT strategy that aligns with our client’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead the Group IT team and oversee the IT operations, including hardware and software procurement, network and infrastructure management, and application development and maintenance.
  • Manage relationships with strategic partners and external vendors, ensuring they deliver high-quality services that meet our client’s expectations within budget.
  • Build strong and productive relationships with relevant stakeholders, senior management, and other executives regularly to position IT as a business enabler.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the direct reports, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their roles effectively.
  • Ensure our client’s IT systems are reliable, scalable, and can meet the needs of their customers, employees, and other stakeholders. 
  • Maximize end-user productivity and satisfaction, whilst ensuring cost efficiency within budget.
  • Support and promote IT security efforts to protect against and remediate cyber threats for the entire global organization.


  • Demonstrated relevant experience in senior IT leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of managing and evolving teams and leading through others.
  • Experience in developing and implementing internal IT strategies that support business objectives in an environment that is changing and growing continuously.
  • Excellent analytical skills and comfortable mixing strategic ability with execution.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate with other senior leaders.
  • Experience in managing relationships with external vendors.
  • Experience managing large-scale IT projects and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build, motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals.
