Bauer Media is currently looking for an iOS Developer to join the team.

About the role

As an iOS Developer, you will continuously improve and develop the iOS applications. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will identify and prioritize features. With your experience, you will provide technical leadership and act as a mentor for junior developers. You will keep yourself updated on the most current trends and technologies in iOS development. 

Bauer Media is preparing to introduce an innovative audio product and brand that revolutionizes the concept of radio in the online, on-demand landscape. This initiative aims to cater to the evolving demands of listeners and commercial partners throughout Europe. As the new iOS Developer, you will be highly involved in the development of this new product.

About you

We believe you have several years of experience in iOS development and are used to leading technical development and coaching others. You are a problem solver by heart and aim to continue to develop yourself and the business. We are looking for you who prefer to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. You enjoy working in a team and appreciate both sharing your knowledge and learning from others.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in iOS development
• Strong experience with Swift and iOS frameworks, including Combine
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including agile development, TDD, and CI/CD
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Great written and oral communication skills in English, and elementary level in Swedish 

Desirable:

• Experience with Apple Frameworks such as SwiftUI, CoreData, etc
• Experience with cloud services like AWS or Firebase
• Experience with mobile development for other platforms like Android
• Experience with Audio frameworks such as AVFoundation, MusicKit, Google Chromecast, etc
