Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Gaming industry

Our client is a gaming company that has experienced great success in recent years. They are backed by prominent investors and are now on the verge of expanding operations through various initiatives. As part of this exciting journey we are now seeking a seasoned and strategic CFO to join the team and drive our client’s success to new heights. 

As the CFO, you will play a critical role in guiding the financial and general strategy while supporting our client’s transformation into a diversified gaming group. Your expertise from the gaming industry as well as capital markets will be instrumental in steering our client through future opportunities. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and board of directors to ensure financial sustainability, operational excellence and strategic decision-making. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgetings, forecasting, cash flow management and financial reporting
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team, contributing to key business decisions and long-term planning
• Evaluate and assess potential acquisitions and investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and financial analysis
• Integration post merger/acquisition of potential targets + introducing financial controls
• Develop and execute financial strategies to support expansions plans

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in finance, accounting or a related field. Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred 
• Experience working in an industry with a multitude of different revenue streams
• Significant experience in senior financial leadership roles from the nordic region, both within, and outside the gaming industry
• Proven track record of successfully guiding companies through periods of growth, both organic and via M&A
• Outstanding knowledge of gaming industry dynamics, market trends and revenue models
• Experience working with external investors and a strong understanding of their investment requirements
• Exceptional financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills
• Deep understanding and passion for the creative industry and the culture that embodies it
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence and build strong, lasting relationships on all levels
