The role

As Head of Insight & Analytics, you will be a key factor in Strawberry’s success with Data Strategy. The primary objective is ensuring processes and infrastructure align, providing confidence that data is accurate, secure, private, and protected through legislation and policies, as well as driving a data thinking culture.

You will ensure Strawberry takes the right actions in using data as a key driver for competitive advantage, maximizing the financial and strategic benefits from various initiatives related to decision support. You will be leading the development of a new data platform, and managing a team of brilliant people.In short, you will:

  • Define the overall strategy for how to use data as a key driver in creating and sustaining competitive advantages and profitability.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage principles for business case management and benefit realization related to decision support.
  • Work closely with the various business units in defining and prioritizing requirements for improved decision support, and in ensuring maximum benefit realization.
  • Follow-up on competitors and ‘thought leaders in their use of data as a strategic advantage.
  • Manage the pipeline of information needs across business units, and act as the coordination point for group-wise priorities.
  • Act as the overall product owner for development projects.
  • Act as the overall product owner for ‘data products’ targeted at business partners.
  • Harmonize the most important KPIs, driving costs and profitability across business units, in close collaboration with Information- and Data Architects.

About you

To thrive in this role, we believe that you have: 

  • Higher education in computer science, data engineering, information systems, IT, and Economics or other relevant experience.
  • Commercial-driven mindset with the goal to increase profitability in the value streams.
  • Strong communication/storytelling skills
  • Visionary in terms of new business models and the associated use of data for competitive advantage.
  • Experience in management or development with documentable results.
  • High degree of service orientation and good stakeholder management skills along with respective communication skills.
  • Technical understanding of BI, reporting, visualization, analytics, and governance.

Not least, you should be a go-getter, who likes taking action to create results. You’d do this by being a networker, connecting with the right stakeholders, and autonomously paving new paths forward.

Perhaps you’ve already made significant data migrations and know what it takes to create something new, centralized, and more efficient. What’s important is not what company you’ve been at, but rather what ideas you may have for effectively driving data decisions in large organizations going forward.
