Venture Partner

As Venture Partner, you are part of the transformative tech team at Industrifonden and contribute to value creation for the portfolio as a whole, as well as the evaluation of new investments. There is a deep focus on product and tech within the software area, and in this role, you independently develop decision-support material focusing on technology, product, and market analysis. 

You will be a senior addition to the investment operations team, evaluating product/technology relevance in new and follow-up investments. Initially, you will support experienced investment directors and eventually contribute to a continued flow of high-quality deals through your network with Industrifonden.

Key responsibilities:

• Add credibility and provide strategic advice both internally and externally in your area of expertise 
• You will be the voice and reason for everything tech and product and have a hands-on approach
• Continuous analysis of relevant investment areas 
• Staying on top of the latest technology trends and developments
• Playing a vital role in the preparation of decision support material, with a special focus on a deep understanding of the product and relevant market/sales strategies from a technology perspective

Background and experience: 

• Demonstrated relevant work experience as a senior Tech/Product leader or similar from either a startup, scaleup, or business transformative environment
• Broad understanding of software engineering/product and operations practices, hopefully with an ability to make architectural decisions
• You have a modern view of product and tech development with an iterative approach and the end-user in focus
• Communicator with an ability to bridge business and technology
• Ability to work cross-functionally and work in an international dynamic, ambitious, and business-driven environment
• A well-established network within the CTO/CPO community. 
• Experience in technical due diligence is advantageous
• Preferably experience with different business models/operations
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written 
• Academic degree, preferably MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
