Senior UX Designer – Contract

We are helping a consumer tech startup in their search for a Senior UX Designer. Our client is developing a new dimension of the Internet, a light web, where creators can build their own platforms and products. They aim to fundamentally change how people create and interact online. By freeing creators and their fans from the constraints of social media, they are building a user friendly toolkit (co-operative OS) – to foster a vibrant, community-driven video society for limitless creativity, interaction, and innovation.

This is a highly ambitious venture financially endorsed by one of Europe’s top VC’s. The founder is a well-known profile from the Swedish tech scene – with a background from co-founding a global app that is being used by millions of people on a daily basis.

About the Role

In this position, you will be the driving force behind user-centric innovation, guiding every step of the product development journey. This encompasses user research, UX design, wire framing, prototyping, testing, and the insightful analysis of data, all leading to powerful strategic initiatives.

Collaboration is key! You’ll team up closely with the Senior UI Designer and the Founder/Head of Products, and together, you’ll make waves with the rest of the crew.

To succeed in this role, we believe you should be a experienced designer with a passion for innovation and the creation of extraordinary user experiences. We highly value your ability to think creatively and push boundaries. Additionally, we consider the following key traits to be essential for success:

• Proven experience in leading UX projects in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Experience with all stages of the product development process, from user research and UX, to wire framing, prototyping, and testing.
• Ability to connect the dots and collaborate effectively with other teams.

It’s a plus if you:

• Have experience working with the gaming industry or consumer/social tech products

This is a long-term contract-based remote position.
