UX Designer – Contract

We are helping a consumer tech startup in their search for a UX Designer. Our client is developing a new dimension of the Internet, a light web, where creators can build their own platforms and products. They aim to fundamentally change how people create and interact online. By freeing creators and their fans from the constraints of social media, they are building a co-operative OS that will foster a vibrant, community-driven ecosystem for limitless creativity, collaboration/interaction, and innovation.

This is a highly ambitious venture financially endorsed by one of Europe’s top VCs. The founder is a well-known profile from the Swedish tech scene – with a background from co-founding a global app that is being used by millions of people on a daily basis.

About the Role

In this position, you will be the driving force behind user-centric innovation, guiding every step of the product development journey. This encompasses user research, UX design, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and the insightful analysis of data, all leading to powerful strategic initiatives.

Collaboration is key! You’ll team up closely with the UI Designer, and together, you’ll make waves with the rest of the crew. Let’s dive in and make a difference!

We are looking for

To succeed in this role, we think you are a well-experienced designer with a fiery passion for innovation and crafting extraordinary user experiences. We value your ability to think creatively and push boundaries. Moreover, we believe these key traits will be essential for success:

• Proven experience in leading UX projects in a startup or fast-paced environment. 
• Experience with the early- and main stages of the product development process: from user research & UX, wire-framing, prototyping & testing.
• Ability to connect the dots and work in collaboration with other designers.
• Ability to collect insights from internal stakeholders and validate quick wins.

It’s a plus if you:

• Working with complex product on-boardings, and/or successfully setting up users with complex tools.
• Have experience working with product video/music streaming, the gaming industry or consumer/social tech

This is a long-term contract-based remote position that starts as soon as possible
