The Role
As the CTO (co-founder), you will play a pivotal role in building a European category leader in the new energy domain. You will lead the engineering team and drive the development of cutting-edge energy solutions. Key responsibilities include setting the technical direction, ensuring scalability and reliability of the platform, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of talented engineers, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Drive the architectural vision and technical strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Oversee the development and deployment of demand response and energy optimisation software, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Ensure the use of the right technologies for the right problems.
- Promote a devops culture, owning deployments and setting SLOs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve the platform.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role.
- Strong expertise in software development, with hands-on experience in Go, PostgreSQL, Docker, and related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
