Test Engineer

About the role

As a Test Engineer, you will play an important role in working to improve the internal systems at AFRY. The role will focus on building and implementing automated tests for integrations. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test suites for integration tests. Your tasks will include performing API testing to ensure seamless communication between systems and services, as well as conducting SQL testing to validate database functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform performance testing to identify and optimize system capacity
• Execute regression testing to ensure that new changes do not affect existing functionality
• Explore and implement new technologies and tools within test automation
• Collaborate with the development team to follow up on and implement test results
• Drive improvements in our testing processes and contribute to greater efficiency

About You

For this position, we believe you have at least 2–3 years of experience in technical testing, with a focus on automated tests for integrations. You are communicative, humble, and collaborate easily with the development teams. You have a strong interest in learning and exploring new technologies within test automation and quality assurance.

Desired skills:

• Experience in performance testing and regression testing
• Good knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium or similar)
• Experience working with Azure DevOps
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
