CTO with a Vision to Transform Healthcare

As the CTO of Ortivus you would make a real difference to healthcare on a global scale. Ortivus is a Swedish company specialising in medical technology and e-health solutions, primarily for emergency care and ambulance services. Ortivus’ products and services improve efficiency and quality in emergency care by offering technology for monitoring, decision support and communication thus saving vital seconds in life-critical situations.

About the role

You will lead the development team and the technical evolution. The team is small but experienced, and the products have been developed over many years. Ortivus is now looking to invest in new technologies and innovative practices to drive future growth. You will secure the best conditions possible for the team to succeed in turning their solutions into to modern, easy to use SaaS-offerings. The CTO will be a member of Ortivus’ Senior management team and report to the CEO.

About you

We’re looking for a strong leader who can navigate in a smaller company, sometimes inventing methods rather than reading the manual. Experience from driving change is vital and knowing what good and great look like will be helpful when implementing new technologies and ways of working. A strong grasp of technology is important and a demonstrated ability to make things happen is essential. 

We think you have:

• 5+ years of experience leading product development teams.
• Expertise in setting and executing a technical vision.
• Experience in building SaaS products and to navigate complex ecosystems.
• Good grasp of iOS Native Applications and medtech standards such as HL7 FIHR or Snomed CT.
• Eligibility and ability to work from the Stockholm offices in Mörby Centrum.
