Senior Fullstack Developer – Sustainable Tech

About the Role 

As a Fullstack Developer, you will, together with a devoted team, be responsible for developing business-critical applications and integrations on our journey to achieve operational excellence. At AFRY, they are passionate and proud to continuously work towards improving Sustainable IT across the company and the world. The way of working is based on agile development methods and team spirit. 

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the rest of the team consisting of Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, Testers, and the Team Lead. You will work with modern microservices-based applications in a Microsoft environment using C# and .NET. The architecture is well-formulated and based exclusively on various Azure components designed for scalability and flexibility. 

The team’s primary focus is building and enhancing applications and integrations within the HR domain concerning the staff journey. Also, they are actively involved in constructing AFRY’s internal web platform, a Progressive Web App developed in .NET Core and React, which caters to the needs of 20,000 employees.

About You

As Senior Fullstack Developer, we expect you to immerse yourself in the tech and face development challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. You are interested in usability to achieve the best possible experience for end-users. You can see both details and have a holistic perspective on the solutions you and your team are working on and are comfortable in expressing and motivating your ideas and suggestions. Also, you have a genuine interest in problem-solving and are an outcome-oriented problem-solver.

In addition, we expect you to be passionate about sustainable IT solutions and great architecture!

Tech Knowledge We Appreciate

• Excellent programming skills in modern .Net Core, and C#
• Experience in microservices
• Experience in Azure cloud development and an interest in infrastructure as a code
• Experience in working with Azure DevOps
• Experience in working with SQL and databases 
• Experience working as a Fullstack developer for at least five years 
• Experience of frontend development using React 
• Higher education in computer science
