About the role 

ContextVision is looking for an experienced colleague to join the Application Services team in Linköping or Stockholm. As an Application Engineer, you will enable high-quality imaging for global medical companies within ultrasound and X-ray. Your responsibilities will include handling external projects by establishing and maintaining contact with their customers where you will be the expert in image quality. You will work closely with the customer and assist them in different cases, integrating and customizing the software on-site, and much more. Also, with your experience and customer insights, you are important for guiding the development, as well as validating the value of internal product development.  

To be successful in this role, you will need a deep understanding of the algorithms and an attentive ear for customer needs. You’ll bridge sales and R&D, conveying customers’ aspirations and concerns back to the company. About you 

ContextVision is looking for a candidate who possesses a passion for understanding the customers’ perspective with an ability to form relations and communicate with people from different disciplines and organizational levels. You have an ability to understand the needs of the customer, and present unique customized solutions based on their products, which exceed customer expectations. 

ContextVision is looking for individuals with extensive experience in equivalent or similar job roles. Previous experience working with, or knowledge of, image processing or medical imaging quality (X-ray and ultrasound) is a merit. 

We believe you have

• A MSc in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years of experience or more in a similar position
• Previous experience working in services and understanding the user  
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to form relationships in different cultures 
• Strong communication skills enabling you to transfer information between customers and development 
• The ability to manage projects and drive the work in a structured way
• Experience working with product validation 
• The ability to think outside the box 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English
