Senior UI Artist for a mobile games startup

About the Role

Our client, an innovative mobile games studio based in Stockholm, is looking for a Senior UI Artist with a passion for crafting intuitive, stylish, and engaging user interfaces for mobile games.

If you have experience building crisp and polished UI for casual or mid-core titles in Unity, and you love making gameplay accessible and delightful through awesome visuals, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Senior UI Artist, you’ll join a small, ambitious team that strives for excellence in everything they do. You’ll work closely with designers and artists to create wireframes, flows, and production-ready UI assets that feel seamless and joyful to use. With your artistic eye, you’ll ensure that every screen, button, and popup not only looks great but also helps guide the player through the game in a clear and engaging way.

While your main focus will be on UI, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to other areas of game art, reflecting the team’s all-hands-on-deck mentality.

This studio is on a mission to create one of the best casual mobile games in the industry, and they’re looking for individuals eager to explore new ideas, push boundaries, and shape memorable player experiences.

Requirements

• Solid experience designing and implementing UI for mobile games, ideally in Unity
• A strong portfolio showcasing polished, stylish, and user-friendly game interfaces
• Strong sense of layout, typography, color, and iconography tailored for mobile audiences
• Experience with UI animation and transitions in Unity is a big plus
• A passion for mobile games and understanding of what makes them engaging
• Excellent collaboration skills and comfort working closely with design and programming
• Ability to take ownership and contribute ideas across the development process

The team is based in central Stockholm and works on-site five days a week.
