Tistel is a fast-growing technology company developing and producing unmanned vehicles at the intersection of AI, robotics, and high-volume manufacturing. They are now looking for a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

In this role, you’ll be part of a cross-functional engineering team and contribute throughout the entire product lifecycle – from early concept development to final production. We think a successful candidate has previous experience developing, prototyping and testing UAVs or robots, either professionally or as a hobby. 

About you

We believe you have:

• 5+ years of experience in mechatronics
• Experience in both mechanical design and electronics (pcba, sensors, actuators)
• Understanding of embedded software and real-time control
• Hands-on experience building prototypes and working in a lab environment
• Experience from unmanned vehicles, drones or robotics – professionally or as a hobby
• Bonus if you also have experience in industrialization and high-volume production

• Self-driven, curious, and humble
• Hands-on and practical with a strong “build and test” mindset
• Able to shift between technical details and a broader system-level perspective
• Genuinely passionate about technology – you probably build your own projects in your spare time

The role is based at their new office (with a new lab!) in central Stockholm.
