AI Developer – Bflow

Bflow is the core technology platform within Freedom Group — a fast-growing accounting group building the digital foundation for modern entrepreneurship. Our platform is used daily in real financial decisions by thousands of companies and accounting professionals across Sweden.

Our product is divided into two main areas: Office Support and Accounting. Today, our development team is outsourced to Poland. We are entering a major expansion phase and taking the next strategic step and establishing a Swedish development team in Stockholm to work jointly with the team in Poland.

We are looking for an AI Developer who will help us design, implement, and scale intelligent features within Bflow Accounting and Bflow Office Support. This role focuses on automation, actionable insights, and decision support, and is ideal for someone who thrives on applying AI to solve real-world business problems.

About the role

In this role, you will focus on product-focused AI development, combining hands-on implementation of smart features with efforts to mature the organization’s AI capabilities. You will work closely with Tech Leads, engineers, product managers, and UX designers to create AI-powered solutions that are reliable, explainable, and ready for production in a regulated environment.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement AI- and LLM-based smart features for automation and decision support
• Work with structured financial data and real production constraints
• Build hybrid solutions combining rules, heuristics, and AI
• Contribute to data preparation, evaluation, and quality assurance of AI outputs
• Share knowledge and help colleagues adopt AI tools and practices in development, testing, and everyday engineering work
• Help define best practices for responsible and secure AI usage
• Take part in moving AI solutions from prototype to production

About you

To succeed in this role, we believe you are a pragmatic AI developer who is motivated by designing, implementing, and operationalizing AI-powered features in real production environments. You have strong Python skills and experience working with data pipelines, model evaluation, or prompt-based systems.

You are driven by building AI solutions that are robust, secure, and production-ready — not research prototypes. You understand the responsibility that comes with working on systems that handle sensitive financial and personal data, and you naturally incorporate principles of privacy, security, and responsible AI into your technical decisions from the start.

Your experience includes:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science — or equivalent practical experience
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience working with AI, ML, or LLM-based systems (professional, academic, or project-based)
• Experience with LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or open-source models)
• Experience with prompt engineering and/or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Familiarity with rule-based systems and workflow automation

Nice to have

• Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive domains
• Interest in developer productivity, testing, and AI-assisted tooling
