About you

We’re looking for a true tech enthusiast at heart – a self-proclaimed nerd with a lifelong passion for technology. You didn’t pursue education just for its sake but because technology is part of your DNA. Your innate talent for tech stands out – you have a knack for diving deep into new technologies and quickly getting up to speed.

You have:

• At least five years of experience as a front- or backend developer and are ready to take the next step in your career
• Proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages or frameworks, such as Python, Java, C/C++/C#, .NET, JavaScript, Ruby, React, Angular, Node, Vue, or Bootstrap
• Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies, such as App Services and Functions
• Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Strong skills in software architecture, design, implementation, and deployment, which will be invaluable to the team and future projects
• Ability to work onsite in the greater Stockholm metropolitan area (this is not a remote position)
• Fluency in both Swedish and English

To top it off, we see it as a bonus if you have experience as a consultant, design skills (HTML5, CSS, SCSS, SVG, dynamic layouts, etc.), knowledge in RPA and automation, experience in machine learning, or database expertise.

Work Tasks
As a Game Server Developer in Game Studio Stockholm you will be part of an agile development team with javascript developers, QA engineers and graphical designers. Your work tasks will be everything from planning cross functional stories with the team, driving CI/CD within the game server product to developing new games.

Areas of responsibility
You main responsibility will be to create games fwith focus on server side game logic of the best online casino games available.
Day-to-day work can be anything from diving into some java code, improving our in-house frameworks or even experimenting with new technologies. You will also be part of a game server competence group to help improve our products with CI/CD, this means that you love automating your day-to-day tasks for integrating and testing our game code.
