Bflow är den centrala techplattformen inom Freedom Group, en snabbt växande redovisningskoncern som bygger den digitala grunden för modernt entreprenörskap. Plattformen används idag av koncernens ca 50 redovisningsbyråer med 500 anställda och ca 15 000 slutkunder i form av företag runt om i landet. Bolaget är lönsamt och man växer både organiskt och genom förvärv.

Bflows produkt är indelad i två huvudområden: Office Support och Accounting. Bolaget går nu in i en större expansionsfas och tar nästa strategiska steg genom att etablera ett utvecklingsteam i Stockholm med ansvar för Accounting-området.

Vi söker en hands-on lead som vill vara med och forma framtidens redovisning, bygga ett nytt engineering-team från grunden i Stockholm och skapa verklig impact för tusentals företag och redovisningsproffs, med AI som en självklar del av hur vi bygger.

Plattformen är byggd på Python, Django, React, AWS, PostgreSQL och andra moderna teknologier.

I denna roll kombinerar du praktiskt utvecklingsarbete med tekniskt ledarskap. Du fungerar som en informell ledare för utvecklarna i ditt team, sätter teknisk riktning och säkerställer att det vi bygger är robust, skalbart och produktionsklart. Du har ett helikopterperspektiv på mjukvaran vi bygger och bryr dig djupt om kvalitet och långsiktig arkitektur. AI är en central del av vår roadmap, och vi söker dig som är nyfiken på hur det kan användas för att automatisera komplexa flöden och skapa verkligt värde.

Främsta ansvarsområden:

• Ta tekniskt ansvar för backend, med fokus på automation och intelligenta arbetsflöden.
• Driva design och implementation av AI.
• Säkerställa hög kodkvalitet genom granskningar, teststrategier och kontinuerlig förbättring av QA-praktiker.
• Samarbeta nära Tech Leads.
• Arbeta nära produkt, design och affärsstakeholder.
• Bidra till att kontinuerligt förbättra teamets arbetssätt, effektivitet och hur AI används i utvecklingsprocessen.

Om dig

För att lyckas i denna roll ser vi att du är van vid att arbeta i eller leda ett hands-on-team och känner dig bekväm med ansvar för både teknisk leverans och teamprocesser. Du är en processorienterad person som bryr dig om kvalitet och värdeskapande för användarna. Du har ett intresse för att kontinuerligt utveckla både ditt eget arbete och hur teamet arbetar, särskilt genom att använda nya teknologier som AI.

Din tekniska erfarenhet inkluderar:

• Python/Django
• Erfarenhet av molnmiljöer, gärna AWS
• Arbetat i agila team och erfarenhet av att sätta upp agila processer, arbetsflöden och automation med DevOps-tänk

Meriterande:

• React (eller liknande moderna front-end-ramverk)
• Erfarenhet av AI, ML eller LLM-baserade lösningar
• Erfarenhet från fintech, redovisning eller andra reglerade domäner

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with Data Engineering skills, who can quickly understand existing systems, work independently, and deliver value from day one. You will play a key role in evolving and improving our data platform, working closely with other engineers and stakeholders. You will be part of a data engineering team responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable data solutions in AWS. The work includes both hands-on development and architectural decision-making.

The position requires that you are able to work in Stockholm, Sweden.

What you’ll do

Your responsibilities include

• Building and maintaining backend services for high-volume data processing and APIs
• Designing and improving data ingestion, streaming, and event processing (batch and real-time)
• Refactoring and enhancing existing services, pipelines, and infrastructure
• Implementing robust data collection, transformation, and storage solutions
• Operating and improving cloud-based platforms (primarily AWS)
• Improving observability, reliability, and operational tooling for production systems
• Contributing to best practices around CI/CD, testing, code quality, and documentation

About you

• Has several years of hands-on experience building and operating production systems
• Strong experience with software development in C++, Python, Go, Rust, (or similar)
• Strong experience designing and operating production backend systems
• Experience with data engineering architectures for ingestion and transformation
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS
• Solid understanding of databases (warehouses, OLTP/OLAP concepts, query performance)
• Experience with event-driven or streaming architectures (Kafka or similar)
• Strong understanding of reliability, observability, and production operations
